About The Editors


Sergio Gregorio, 1998, is a senior and third-year editor of Intertext. He majors in English & Textual Studies and minors in education. After completing law school, Sergio plans to get a job that will accommodate his interests in law and television--perhaps working as a television legal correspondent. Sergio is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key National Honor Societies.

Katie Lucarelle, 2001, from Wilbraham, Massachusetts majors in English and Textual Studies with a concentration in Creative Writing. She was Features Editor of her high school newspaper, and was the president of her Student Council. In her limited spare time, she enjoys recreational team sports, writing, and nature walks.

Danielle D Reed, 1998, from Arlington, VA is a dual major in English Textural Studies and International Relations. She plans to graduate in May and hopefully attend graduate school. She enjoys writing very much and is currently in the process of writing her first novel.

Lisa Smits, 1998, is a senior, English Textual Studies major, and has a minor in Education. She is actively involved in many campus groups including Pi Beta Phi sorority, the Greek Judicial Board, and the Soling Program. Upon graduation she aspires to begin a career in publishing, and eventually pursue a masters degree. In her free time Lisa enjoys running, tennis, singing, and taking long drives in her car.

William Sutton, December 1999, from Rochester, New York is currently pursuing a degree in English and Textual Studies. Bill holds an Associate of Science Degree in Communications and Media Arts from Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Monroe Doctrine, a weekly student newspaper. In addition to his duties as an editor for Intertext, Bill is Night Editor for The Daily Orange, a Soling Student, and a member of Phi Kappa Phi All-Academic Honor Society. He hopes to pursue his interests in both media and creative writing upon graduation from Syracuse University.
