ABD. MA, English, Emphasis in Rhetoric and Composition, California State University, Northridge; BA, Journalism, California State University, Northridge.

I am currently working on my forthcoming dissertation, Casting Aurora In A New Light: Rhetoric, Genocide, And Geopolitics. My research interests are interdisciplinary and include, but are not limited to: Transnational Studies, Feminist Studies, Armenian Studies, and human rights rhetorics. Through my research, I aim to better understand how refugees can be taken up as geopolitical symbols through the discourse ascribed to them by human rights campaigns.
